 PIPE RELINING

PIPE RELINING SYDNEY

If you are experiencing consistently blocked drains, slow flowing water, or you have seen dramatic changes in your garden’s lawn (either suddenly lush and green or suddenly soggy and smelly) you could have a broken or cracked pipe (or pipes) which need urgent pipe relining solutions.

Pipe relining is the best solution for repairing difficult and damaged pipes. Known as a “No-Dig” solution and considerably less impactful than any other pipe repair options. It is quite, quick, and clean, which is why it is becoming the go-to service for our Sydney clients who are looking for a long-term solution that will not disrupt the home and garden.

Pipe relining, also known as Cured-in-Place Pipelining (CIPP) simply creates a pipe within the existing pipe. This cured-in-place pipe is a trenchless rehabilitation method used to repair existing pipelines. Our team at Sydney Relining Company are the relining company who uses a two-part epoxy that is pulled through the pipe and expanded to leave a hard fibreglass shell that cannot be penetrated by roots. These new pipe lining systems are up to 4 times stronger than a new PVC pipe and are perfect for sewer pipe repair especially for earthenware pipework.

PIPE PATCHING SYDNEY

Patch repairs is similar to relining, but we install them in one or two-metre lengths to correct isolated breakages or misalignments. We recommend pipe patch repairs if relining the entire pipe is not economical. Pipe patching to repair a broken section of a pipe can be an ideal, cost effective solution. However, if the pipe requires several patches, relining the entire drain could provide better value for money.

Sectional pipe repair or ‘pipe patching’ is an alternative to digging up tree root infested, damaged, misaligned, or broken pipes. It is fast, permanent, and ideal for smaller leaks or cracks in your pipes that do not need to be completely replaced.

The process includes:
  • Clear the Drain:

The damaged drain is prepared for relining by cutting out all roots and clearing debris using a high-pressure water jet.

  • Visual Inspection:

A CCTV camera is inserted to inspect the repair area, determine the length of the patch, and ensure it is ready for relining.

  • Prepare Pipe Repair & Insert Packer Lilner is cut to length, impregnated with resin, secured to an inflatable bladder, inserted into the damaged area of the drain.

  • Inflate Packer:

The location of the damaged section is verified using a CCTV drain camera. The bladder is inflated.

  • Deflate & Remove Packer:

The patch cures in place for approximately 4 hours. The packer isdeflated and removed from the drain.

  • Reinspect Pipe Patch Repair:

The patch repair is inspected with a CCTV drain camera to ensure the patch repair has set and the repair is successful.

 JUNCTION REPAIRS

JUNCTION REPAIRS SYDNEY

Drains in Sydney are typically made up of sections or lengths of pipes, with multiple junctions along the length that pick up other fixtures. These junctions are made up of three separate joints, all of which are prone to compromise. The purpose of a juction repair is to insert a pre-cut liner into the damaged junction, in doing so covering all the joints and preventing any crack of getting worse and any tree roots of making their way back into the drain.

Similarly, to both patch repair and inversion relining, junction repair also leaves a one-piece liner within the drain, bonded to the internal wall of the pipe. The difference in this instance is that the liner itself as you can see in the image above is in the shape of the junction, so the application is similar, yet different.

Firstly, the shape, size and orientation of the junction must be ascertained via camera inspection. This is paramount as the material and equipment com in specific configuations according to the drain size. Next it is either pulled, pushed, or pushed and pulled into position using rope and cable and rotated into place, using the camera as a reference point to dictate the correct rotation.

Once in position, the bladder is inflated with compressed air which forces the arm of the junction into position via a controlled method. Once the bladder is fully inflated, the resin is cured in place using steam to speed the process. Once the resin has cured, the bladder is removed, and the liner is left in place.

ROBOTIC CUTTING SYDNEY

With advanced technology and high-tech cameras, the robotic pipe cutter is a specialised drainpipe tool with a diamond impregnated steel cutting head that cuts through obstructions with ease. Attached to an air hose, it can cut in 360-degree motion which grinds away the protruding obstructions and effortlessly provides a resurfaced smooth finish, readily available for pipe relining. Robotic pipe cutting is used for lateral preparation and re-opening cutting, remove blockages, damage, and debris from pipes in an efficient and minimally destructive manner.

What Can Our Robotic Pipe Cutter Do?
  • Remove blockages and roots that a high-pressure water jet cannot remove.

  • Remove thick tree roots.

  • Remove concrete, steel, star pickets and timber pegs from the pipework.

  • Grind out general obstructions in the pipework.

  • Record video footage and still images.

  • Navigate multiple bends and diameter changes without damaging the host pipe.

BRAWOLINER PIPE

BRAWOLINER PIPE SYDNEY

WHAT IT IS? Brawoliner Pipe Relining System in simple terms, the Brawoliner inversion system is a method of pipe relining that is specifically designed for residential and commercial pipes. It is an incredibly effective way of repairing pipes and drains efficiently. The system is perfect for pipe relining Sydney solutions, because it has the ability to handle multiple bends and small changes in the diameter of the pipe. Using the Brawoliner pipe relining system we reline the inside of the existing pipe with a flexible woven material that is impregnated with epoxy resin.

During the inversion process the resin adheres to the inside of the pipe and sets to form a tough, durable water-tight liner giving you a seamless, permanent drain, with the least amount of digging and disruption on your property, eliminating the potential for a future blocked drain.
